Doris Danieli

1930 - 2018

SMITHFIELD - Doris (Chamberland) Danieli, 87, of Smithfield passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018.

Born in Woonsocket, on Aug. 25, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Josephat and Irene (Marcoux) Chamberland and is pre-deceased by brothers Bernard and Robert Chamberland and sisters Teresa Picard and Jeannette Ballas.

She was the wife of the late Mario Danieli and is survived by three sons: Michael and his wife, Christine, of Tiverton, R.I.; Brian of Burrillville; and Daniel of Smithfield. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Adrian Danieli of Tiburon, Calif., and Alexis (Danieli) Emond of Tiverton; seven great-grandchildren, Brianna Durfee, Gabrielle, Paul, Maxwell, and William Emond and Catarina and Julian Danieli and several nieces and nephews.

She was a former resident of Bellingham, Mass. and North Ft. Myers, Fla.

She was a member of the Italian Workingmen's Club, Woonsocket for many years and volunteered at Oktoberfest each year. She will always be remembered as a kind, generous, and loving woman to family and friends.

The funeral and burial will be private. Donations in her name can be sent to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215.
