Doris I. Dery

1921 - 2016

BELLINGHAM - Doris I. (Dubois) Dery, 94, of Bellingham, MA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at home with loving family by her side. She is the beloved wife of the late Roger L. Dery and the loving and devoted companion of the late Charles A. "Del" Arsenault. Born in Woonsocket, RI on December 23, 1921, she is the daughter of the late Ernest and Maria (Brisbois) Dubois. She is the loving "adopted" mother of Pauline and Emilio DiSpirito, III of Bellingham, MA. She leaves many cherished "adopted" grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Doris was a resident of Bellingham for 17 years formerly of Cass Avenue in Woonsocket. She was active at the Par X Club with her husband. Doris loved to read, was an avid game show watcher, enjoyed playing cards and traveling to Florida and Tennessee. Doris is a kind and loving woman and will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Saturday, April 9th at 8:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00AM at St. Blaise Church, 1158 So. Main St., Bellingham. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are on Friday, April 8th from 5PM to 8PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Doris I. Dery may be made to Salmon VNA & Hospice, 37 Birch St., Milford, MA 01757 would be appreciated.
