Doris M. Marcet

BELLINGHAM - Doris M. (Boulanger) Marcet, 84, of Bellingham, MA passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at The
Holiday in Manville, RI. She is the beloved wife of the late Adrien B. Marcet. Born in Franklin, MA on May 24, 1931, the daughter of the late Arsene and Rose (Connolly) Boulanger.
She is the loving mother of Michael A. Marcet of Woonsocket, RI, James D. Marcet and his wife, Sherry of Mendon, MA and Susan Healy and her husband, James of Cumberland, RI. She leaves her cherished 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is the sister of Frances Boni and her husband, George of Bellingham, MA, Edna Cote and her husband, Alfred of Wareham, MA, and the late Norman Boulanger, and Muriel Martel.
Doris was a longtime resident of Bellingham and worked as a meat wrapper at Almacs at Bellingham Center for 29 years until retiring in 1996. She was an avid shopper, a great cook and enjoyed dining out. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Devoted to her family, Doris will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Friday, January 15th at 9:30AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St., (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM at St. Theresa Church, 630 Rathbun St., Blackstone, MA. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are on Thursday, January 14th from 5 to 8PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in Memory of Doris M.
