CUMBERLAND - Dorothy B. (MacDonald) Clifford, 80, of Cumberland, RI passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at The Holiday

Retirement Home in

Manville, RI. She is the beloved wife for 54 years of the late Ralph R. Clifford. She is the loving mother of Pamela J. Latour of North Smithfield, RI and Gary S. Clifford of Woonsocket, RI. She leaves her cherished grandchildren Brandon Clifford and his fiance Kayli Roux, and Sean Clifford, and great-granddaughter Marley Rae Clifford. Dorothy was born in Norwood, MA on February 10, 1944, the daughter of the late Alexander and Catherine (Beis) MacDonald, and the sister of John MacDonald of Needham, MA.

Dorothy was a resident of Cumberland, RI formerly of Blackstone and Bellingham, MA. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at Clark Cutler & McDermott in Franklin, MA for many years until retiring.

She enjoyed traveling and was a tour guide for Bob & Carol Bus Tours for many years. She loved to go to Twin River Casino playing the slot machines, and enjoyed dining out. Dorothy was devoted to her family and will be greatly missed.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 1st at 11:00AM at Cartier's Funeral Home, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA. Visiting time will be from 9:30AM to 11:00AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Blackstone Cemetery, Blackstone, MA.
