Edgar Gonyea Obituary
Edgar was an owner and operator of the former Gonyea Brothers Auto Salvage of Pascoag. He also worked as a welder for Electric Boat of CT for many years. He was a WWII Navy veteran, serving as a Signalman Second Class, and member of the local VFW post.
He is survived by two sons: Edgar Gonyea Jr. of Woonsocket and Robert Gonyea and his wife Tressa of Pascoag; three daughters: Marie Blicker of North Smithfield, Constance Richards of Wartburg, TN and Jeanne Gonyea of Pascoag; nineteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Thomas Gonyea, a daughter Suzanne Potter, three brothers: his twin Edward, William Jr., and Larry Gonyea, and a sister Blanche Peloquin.
His Funeral Services beginning with calling hours will be held Monday February 13, 2017 from 10 AM to 12 PM in the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave. Pascoag. Graveside service with Military Honors will follow at 12:30pm in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Pascoag Main St., Burrillville. www.boucherfh.com
