Edna Lyons

Edna (Majkut) Lyons, 91, of Coventry and formerly of Pawtucket passed away peacefully with her family by her side Saturday, March 28, 2015. She was the beloved wife of William Lyons. She was also the wife of the late Vincent Majkut.
Born in Seekonk, MA, she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Helena (Madalinski) Rosenterter. Edna was a office manager for International Display of Pawtucket for 30 years, retiring in 1987.
Besides her husband Bill, she is survived by her children, Kathleen Pritchard and Joseph Majkut, her sister, Olga Greggerson, six grandchildren, Christopher Beck Jr., Sharon Gelotte-Gibbs, David Gelotte, Sean Gelotte, Jarrod Majkut, and Katilyn Majkut, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Helene Gelotte and the sister of the late Elsie Kubiak.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:30am from the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Saint Leo The Great Church of St. John Paul II Parish, 697 Central Avenue, Pawtucket.
Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation Tuesday from 9am-10:30am prior to the Mass in the funeral home.
