Ernest Richard Obituary
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Joseph E. And Simmone (Lamoureux) Richard.
He worked in Maintenance for the Woonsocket Housing Authority prior to retiring. He was a United States Navy veteran serving in the Vietnam Era.
He was a little league umpire for Woonsocket and Burrillville for 30yrs.
Ernest loved to read tell jokes, and watch movie mysteries.
Besides his loving wife Colette he is survived by his three children, Michael Richard and his wife DeLaina of Gloucester, Jane McCoy and her husband James of FL., and Danielle Niethold and her husband Patrick of Cumberland. One sister, Susan Vitale of North Providence. Five grandchildren, Christena, Nicholas, Emily, Ethan, Mackenzie. One great-granddaughter Amelia. One nephew Mathew Vitale.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 11 AM in St. Agatha's Church Joffre Ave Woonsocket, RI 02895. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours are on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 5-7 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI 02895. In lieu of flowers donations to the Burrillville Little League Association P.O. Box 599 Harrisville, RI 02830 in his memory would be appreciated. sdipardomcfh.com
