Fernande N. "Fern" Magson

LINCOLN - Fernande 'Fern' N. (Belisle) Magson, 91, formerly of Manville, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and loved ones, on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016 at the Jeanne Jugan Residence, Pawtucket. She was the wife of the late Arthur Magson and Raymond Lamontagne. She was the companion of the late Arthur Boudreau.

Born in Lincoln, she was the daughter of the late Odis and Albertine (Gervais) Belisle. She resided in the Manville section of Lincoln for most of her life, but most recently resided in Pawtucket.

Fern was an avid dancer, enjoyed arts and crafts, but most of all, loved spending time with her family and loved ones.
She leaves her daughter, Yvette August of Smithfield; her brother, Normand 'Bill' Belisle of Manville; her nephews, William, John, David and Peter Belisle; her extended family, Connie Boudreau of North Providence, Sheila Tallmadge, April Paniccia, Sullivan and Savannah Tallmadge, Lillian and Malina Paniccia.

A celebration of her life will be held this Tuesday with visiting hours from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Jeanne Jugan Residence, 964 Main St., Pawtucket, RI, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in St. James Cemetery. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Arrangements are under the direction of the J.J. Duffy Funeral Home, Cumberland.
