Florence B. Bisson

WOONSOCKET - Florence B. (Barry) Bisson, 95, formerly of Woonsocket, RI, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017 in Marco Island, FL with loving family by her side. She was married 63 years to the late Ivan P. Bisson. She leaves her children, John, Celeste, and Roger Bisson all of Florida. Born in Woonsocket, RI on April 10, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Valerie (Croteau) Barry. Her siblings were Julien Barry, Theodore Barry, Beatrice McClure, Rita Pouliot, Charles Barry, Cecile Lapchinski, Jeanne Jacques, Pauline Reilly, Jeannette Menard and Jackie Barry.
She was known for her beauty, elegance, and radiant smile. She died at the home of her sister on Marco Island where she has lived for the past four months. She dedicated her life to her family and was the best of mothers and will be greatly missed.
The family would also like to thank Vitas Health Care for the superlative care and assistance they provided.
Funeral will beheld on Tuesday, January 2nd with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at All Saints Church, 323 Rathbun Street, Woonsocket, RI. Interment will follow at Precious Blood Cemetery, Woonsocket. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Naples Humane Society, 370 Airport-Pulling Road, Naples, FL 34104 would be appreciated.
