Frances L. Prior

BELLINGHAM - Frances L. (Brogan) Prior, 87, of Bellingham, MA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Metrowest Medical Center Framingham Union Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis J. "Frank" Prior. Born in Providence, RI on August 2, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Mary E. (Bailey) Brogan. She was the loving mother of Mary M. Prior-DeIeso and her husband, Carl of Bellingham, MA, Richard F. Prior and his wife, Elizabeth of Upton, MA, Francis J. Prior II and his wife, Bethanne of San Antonio, TX, Lee Ann Ciaramicoli and her husband, John of Milford, MA, David J. Prior of Bellingham, MA and Christine E. Prior of Bellingham, MA. She leaves her cherished grandchildren, Sara DeIeso, Lauren Punwani and her husband, Rakesh, Emily Prior, Monika Prior, Francis Prior, Michael Kelley and his wife, Jacqueline, David Kelley, and great-grandsons Carl Peskin and Colin Kelley. She was the sister of the late Al Brogan, Richard Brogan, John Brogan, Mary "Sis" Brogan, Grace McManus and Elizabeth Chambers. She also leaves her cherished niece Eileen Pacheco and lifelong friend Elizabeth Bartolet.
A resident of Bellingham formerly of Cambridge, MA, Frances worked as a nurses aide at Cushing Hospital, Serenity Hill Nursing Home and Hopedale Garden Nursing Home. She was a communicant of St. Brendan Church.
Frances loved spending time in Falmouth. Her greatest joy in life was being surrounded by her family and her dog Cocoa. Frances was loved by all whose lives she touched. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Monday, November 13th at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Brendan Church, 384 Hartford Ave., Bellingham. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Mechanic St., Bellingham. Visiting hours are on Sunday, November 12th from 3PM - 6PM at the funeral home.
