Francois W. Lefebvre

1940 - 2018

NORTH SMITHFIELD – Francois W. Lefebvre, 77, of North Smithfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 2, 2018, at Saint Antoine Residence. He was the beloved husband for 54 years of Constance C. (Lussier) Lefebvre.

Born in Woonsocket on Oct. 4, 1940, he is the son of the late Oscar and Delphine (Houle) Lefebvre. He is the loving father of Francois R. Lefebvre and his companion, Roberta Hayes of North Smithfield, and his late wife, Sandra Lefebvre; Normand R. Lefebvre and his wife, Judy of Cumberland; and Monique P. Benoit and her husband, Brian of Bellingham. He leaves his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is the brother of the late Roger Lefebvre and his late wife, Joann, and late Robert Lefebvre and his wife, Theresa Lefebvre of East Providence; brother-in-law of Donald Lussier of Bellingham and his late wife, Paulette; and the late Robert Lussier and his late wife, Madeleine. He leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Francois was a resident of North Smithfield, formerly of Bellingham, for 48 years, and Woonsocket, where he was raised. He worked at A.T. Cross for 15 years until retiring, and previously at Whitin Machine Works for many years. Francois loved fishing and spending time with family, and will be greatly missed.

Arrangements were private under the direction of Cartier's Funeral Home, Bellingham. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Francois W. Lefebvre to Saint Antoine Residence, 10 Rhodes Ave., North Smithfield, RI 02896 would be appreciated.
