Francoisé "Frances" Martinelli

BELLINGHAM - Francoisé "Frances" (Bard) Richard - Martinelli, 86, died peacefully Friday, October 7, 2016, in the Franklin Health & Rehab Center with her family by her side. Formerly of Wrentham Manor in South Bellingham. She was the wife of the late Theodore Richard and also the wife of the late Raymond Martinelli. Born in West Warwick, daughter of the late Albert and Josephine (Desjardins) Bard.
She was a Homemaker, she enjoyed spending time with her family at the beach and going to New Hampshire. She was a volunteer at St. Theresa's Church in Blackstone working in the kitchen, helped with BINGO night, and taught CCD. Fran was known for her delicious Chowder and Dynamites.
She is survived by her four children, Denis E. Richard and his wife Julie of Woonsocket, RI. Pauline Richard of Woonsocket, Diana M. Foley and her husband Daniel of Milford, MA. and Frances Richard of Franklin, MA; one sister, Muriel Larocque, of West Warwick, RI; Five grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Ernestine, Yvette, Albert and Pete.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Sunday October 16th at 6 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, RI. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 4-6 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association in Frances' memory would be appreciated.
