Frederick Ewing Obituary

WOONSOCKET - Frederick LeRoy Ewing, 72, passed away on Sept. 5. Born in Providence, R. I., he was the son of LeRoy Walter Ewing and Phyllis Edna (Gregory) Ewing. He grew up in Woonsocket and graduated from Providence College.
He is survived by his wife, Bette G. (Shelton) Ewing; his children Kristen (Brian) Jones, Dawn (Bill) Mosher, and F. Gregory (Karine) Ewing; 9 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM Sat. Sept. 19 at North Burial Grounds, 5 Branch Ave., Providence. To sign the online guestbook, please visit www.matthewsbryson.com.

Fred will be remembered as a friend to all who knew him. He had a smile that you could not forget. His positive attitude would radiate amoung his friends and i'm sure his family-i'm glad to have been one of his many friends.

We are sad to hear of Fred's passing. He was a kind and honest man who always made you feel good. Had the pleasure of working for him at Edgcomb Metals and thought of him over the years. Glad he was able to enjoy doing the things he loved. Our hearts go out to the family.
