Gary Stone Obituary
Mr. Stone worked as a First Class Lineman for Blackstone Valley Electric for over twenty years and for Pascoag Utility for ten years. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially golfing, the ocean and quahogging. Gary was an avid fan of all New England sports teams and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his two children; Joshua Stone and Jennifer Stone Diogo, his siblings; Wayne, Keith and Kyle Stone and Cheryl Bator, and his grandchildren; Cameron and Olivia Stone and Jake and Joseph Diogo.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 10 AM in Slatersville Congregational Church, 25 Green St., Slatersville. Burial will be private. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4 - 7 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends of the North Smithfield Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 653, Slatersville, RI 02876. www.holtfuneralhome.com

Stone Family,
I only knew Gary a few short years but he was a true friend. We had a few memorable trips to Las Vegas. As much as he liked to have fun, his family was first. Knowing Gary was knowing his family. I've heard a million stories about his children, grandchildren and siblings. Whenever we spoke he always asked first about my wife and kids. He was a kind soul. I regret I can't attend his services and meet you all, but I will always remember Gary in my prayers. RIP Stoney

Stone Family,
Gary was a very good friend of mine.He was also my golf partner. A true family man,thought the world of his grand kids.I will miss him very much and I will pray for him.

Gary and I were golf partners.We had many talks as well as serious talks about grand kids.I really loved this kid,he was great hard worker.Loved his good times but his grand kids always came first.I will miss him alot and so will others but god had a spot for him and he had to be a perfect fit.I will pray for him always and never forget him.
