Mr. Johnson worked in the construction industry. He was a Navy veteran.
He leaves his daughter, Kathleen A. Menard, and her husband, David, of Worcester; his sister, Eleanor Conre of Uxbridge; three grandchildren, Jamie Menard and his wife, Karena, of Woodside, CA, Daniel Menard and his wife, Jamie, of Madison, WI, and Jeremy Menard and his fiancée Olivia Budney of Southbridge, MA; four great grandchildren, Savannah, Logan, Bennett and Rosalin, and his friend, Christopher Daniello and his partner, Nicole Anderson, of Blackstone. He was predeceased by his son, Peter Johnson, and his daughter, Elizabeth Greenwood.
Private arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
