Georgette Theresa Petit

PAWTUCKET - Georgette Theresa (Dubois) Petit, 87, of Pawtucket, RI, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 13, 2017 in Pawtucket Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Edmond "Tim" Ernest Petit.
Born on February 2, 1930 in Central Falls, RI, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. Dubois and the late Rose A. (Allard) Dubois.
Georgette worked for many years as a Jewelry Maker for Ideal Colors in Pawtucket, RI before retiring. A resident of Pawtucket since 1972, she attended St. Leo the Great Church there.
Georgette had a true zest for life, listening for many happy hours to her audio books and enjoying meaningful quality time with her family. She will be dearly missed.
She was the loving mother of Richard Petit and his wife, Jacquie Petit, of Cumberland, RI; Kenny Petit and his wife, Vanessa Petit, of Cumberland, RI; Susan M. Petit of Pawtucket, RI; Paul N. Petit of Seekonk, MA; Paulette (Petit) Rocheleau and her husband, Raymond Rocheleau, of Pawtucket, RI; and the late Leo R. Petit. She was the adoring grandmother of Kaileigh, Lindsay, and Hailey. Georgette was the dear sister of Marcel Dubois of Cumberland, RI.
All services will be privately held.
Burial will be private in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket, RI.
