Guilbert Bouffard Obituary
He is the beloved husband for 67 years of Suzanne T. (Tellier) Bouffard. Born in Woonsocket on July 24, 1926, he is the son of the late Napoleon and Jeannette (Jodoin) Bouffard. He is the loving father of Patricia Severson and her husband, Alan of Grand Junction, Colo., Julie Spas of Calif., Denis Bouffard and his wife, Monica of Lamoine, Maine, Claude Bouffard and his wife, Lisa of Uxbridge and Christine Spielberger and her husband, Mark of Hingham, Mass. He leaves his cherished 10 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Mr. Bouffard was a United States Navy World War II Veteran and received the World War II Victory Medal, American Threatre Medal, European African Middle Eastern Theatre Medal, and the Asiatic Pacific Theatre Medal.
Mr. Bouffard owned and operated Bouffard Upholstering in Bellingham for 35 years. He enjoyed playing tennis, cards and entertaining friends and family and will be greatly missed.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 26 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9: a.m. at St. Blaise Church, 1158 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham. Burial will be private.

I still remember playing poker with loose change as an 8yo child. Guil was a great player and when it was my turn, he let me call the wild card for the next round. I yelled "Aces"... and he just burst out laughing with his hearty laugh and said "who let this kid play?!!!" He was always a good host.

My three boys and I will always treasure the happy memories we made with their Uncle Guil - especially his hearty laugh, playing cards, his hospitality at Christmas family get togethers with their Aunt Sue's Rice Pilaf. We know he's setting up card games with St. Peter and the gang for a well deserved life reward to a great brother-in-law. Rachel Clark
