Helen M. Smith

CUMBERLAND - Helen M. Smith, 68, of Cumberland died Friday, May 8, 2015. She was the wife of Harry E. Smith, Jr. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Aimee and Edith (Alger) Jean, she had been a resident of Pawtucket before moving to Cumberland 10 years ago.
Helen was employed as a presser for over 50 years. She had worked at Narragansett Park Laundry, USA Cleaners and Woodlawn Cleaners. After her retirement, she worked at Stop & Shop.
She was the beloved mother of DeWayne R. Smith, Jason P. Smith, both of Pawtucket and Lisa M. Beliveau of West Warwick. She was the sister of Arthur Jean, Edward Jean, Richard Jean, Edith Domingoes, Phyllis Devires, Elaine Shaffer, Dorothy Lavasseur, the late Alfred Jean and Shirley Jean. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and one great grandson.
A visitation will be held Thursday, May 14, 9:30-10:30 am with a service at 10:30 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick.
