Henry Mueller Obituary
Born in Chepachet, he was the son of the late Carl J. Mueller Sr., and Dora (Lange) Mueller. He resided in Harrisville for the past 26 years previously residing in Cumberland.
He was a US Marine Veteran serving in the Korean War.
He was a truck driver for Roadway Express for 35 years until his retirement. In retirement he owned and operated Milford Shoe Repair, Milford, MA for the past 19 years.
He was a firefighter with the former Berkley Fire District for 40 years, serving as a Captain and Warden.
He was a former Cub Master for Pack 10, Cumberland.
Beside his wife he leaves four children; Michael C. Mueller MD (Cherie) of Austin, TX.; Timothy J. Mueller (Michelle) of Deland, FL.; Maureen Mueller Distler of Marion, NC and Jeffrey (Patty) of Cumberland. One brother Carl J. Mueller Jr., of Greenland, NH, and seven grandchildren; Andrew, Kristen, Michael, Julie, Amanda, Jake and Ciera.
His funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in the Historic St. Joseph Church, 1303 Mendon Road Cumberland. Burial with Military Honors will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Cumberland.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 PM to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to a local animal shelter of your choice. Directions/guestbook: jjduffyfuneralhome.com
