Hermine Sinay Obituary
Hermine is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Pearle and Kenneth Lake, and brother Steven Sinay, along with her many cherished friends. She enjoyed people, bowling, reading, movies and participated in the Special Olympics.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The Fogarty Center, 310 Maple Ave, Suite 102, Barrington, RI 02806, for the wonderful work they do. Many thanks to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, of Providence RI. The family is grateful to the Perspectives Corporation, of North Kingston RI, for the time Hermine spent with them. Hermine touched lives and will be remembered for her sense of humor and her capacity to love.

That beautiful smile and welcoming face you carried throughout your whole life on this earth. You always made me and anyone you spoke with feel like the most important person in the room. Your kindness emanated always in your attentive genuine interest you showed to others. I know you are sharing that gift now with the angels and as David said-I too am a better person for knowing you. Comfort and peace to all who mourn you. May your joy for life linger with all who knew you.
Your name means soldier-how fitting-someone who does the walk despite the obstacles and hardships-perseveres with the smile and supports the lives of others with courage and grace. Thank you, Pat

Pearl and Steve I am so sorry for your loss. Hermine was a wonderful friend, and I will miss her greatly. She taught me a lot about determination and the ability to keep on going. We have had many laughs over the years and a few tears. My favorite time of year was in August and we would go to Block Island to celebrate the August birthdays. She loved the ferry rides over and back. It was a pleasure to be a part of her life. Love to you all
