Inez L. Klockars

WOONSOCKET - Inez L. (Newsome) Klockars, 91, of Woonsocket and formerly of North Smithfield died December 15, 2016 in The Friendly Home, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Frederick O. Klockars. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Elizabeth (Campbell) Newsome.
Mrs. Klockars was a homemaker and a member of Slatersville Congregational Church, North Smithfield, as well as its' Ladies Guild. She also worked for RI ARC and was a member of the North Smithfield PTA.
She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Waterson and her husband William of Smithfield; a son, Keith Klockars and his wife Connie of North Smithfield; three grandchild- ren, Bradley Waterson, Kyle Klockars and Heather-Jean Cardone and eight great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Howard Newsome
Funeral arrangements, under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Slatersville Congregational Church, PO Box 808, Slatersville, RI 02876.
