I am very sorry for the Monse family for your loss. I worked for John for three summers at Texas Instruments while I was a college student in the 1980's. He was so very nice to me from the very first day I worked for him, always greeting me with a smile. He looked out for me those three summers and I will always be grateful to him for his kindness and mentorship. That was my first experience working in industry, and John's example of hard work tempered with collaboration and kindness helped to set me on my way. I am sure he will be missed.
