Jon Collins Obituary
He is survived by Jennifer Taylor, his fiancé and devoted partner of 11 years and by his life-long loyal friend Bryan Pond. Born in Framingham, MA he is the son of Marsha and Butch Gosselin, the late Steve Davis and his bio-dad Chris Webb. Brother to Jeremi Collins, nephew to Michell Eskeli, Bob, Pat and Alan McAvoy, and grandson to Hilda Manchester and the late Don Manchester.
After graduating from BMR High School in 1989, Jon became a Mechanical Design Engineer and worked for many years at Babcock Power in Worcester, MA. Jon was known for his intelligence, creativity, hospitality and humor. A great fan of music, Jon built and played guitars for most of his life. He was drawn to the mountains and enjoyed camping, hiking, boating and swimming.
A memorial service will be held on February 7 at Slatersville Congregational Church in North Smithfield, RI to celebrate a life well lived. Visiting hours are from 9 -11 am, memorial service to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association or the American Heart Association.

I hadn't heard from Jon in a very long time and had decided to look him up and give him a call. I was shocked to read that he had passed. We worked together at Candela Laser in the 1990's for several years. He was a great person with a great sense of humor and we had a lot of laughs over the time we spent together as co-workers and friends. I shared a love of music with Jon and we had many conversations about guitars, albums and artists. My very belated sympathy to his family and friends. I am certain he is greatly missed. My Dearest Friend Marsha,
I have been with you now for many days, and still cant seem to find the right words to express the sadness that I know is breaking your heart. I hope that being here helped some, I know I will miss you when you go home. I did not know Jon but if he was anything like his mother, he was an amazing man! May the peace, comfort, and love of Jesus Christ be poured out on the family and friends of Jon Collins. I will miss everything about Jon. He was my 1st born. I was the 1st to see him, hold him & stroke his hair. Every time he would hug me he would always tell me he loved me & that I was the best Mom ever. I wish that love could have saved him. Until we meet again.
