Joseph Drolet Obituary
Joe served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and later worked at Collyer Wire Co., Lincoln, for many years until retiring. He enjoyed gardening and working in his yard.
Joe is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Louis, Honore "Norman", Bella and Florence Drolet.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend Services with Military Honors on Thursday at 1 p.m. at Notre Dame Cemetery Chapel, 359 Daggett Ave., Pawtucket. Calling hours and flower are respectfully omitted. Memorial gifts to the RI Veterans Home, 480 Metacom Ave., Bristol, RI 02809 will be appreciated. Arrangements are entrusted to William W. Tripp Funeral Home, Pawtucket.

We always knew him as uncle fat, never knew why we called him that because he never was fat. He was a really nice uncle who always spoiled us as children, he used to take naps on the couch of his home and the coins would fall out of his pockets and deeply into the cushions. When he woke up he would tell me and my brother Russell that whatever we found in the cushions we could keep. We loved that. And he used to let us put the Ottoman on its side and roll on it which was also a lot of fun. I will always have fond memories of him. May you rest in peace my dear sweet uncle. ❤ Norma (Drolet) DiLorenzo
