Joseph Grenon Obituary
He was an army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Grenon worked for the former Draper Corporation in Hopedale, Mass., Brown and Sharpe, and finally as a custodian at The Taunton State Hospital, retiring in 2005. He was a member of The Franco-American War Veterans Club of Woonsocket and the American Legion of Attleboro.
He also enjoyed being a limousine driver for many area livery companies.
He is survived by three children; Joseph Grenon III of Seekonk, Richard Grenon of Cumberland, and Jeanne Laliberte of Woonsocket, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and a sister Ernestine Grenon of Harrisville. He was also the brother of the late Irene Kane.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 9 a.m. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, South Main St, Woonsocket. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours will be Monday 4-7 p.m.

JOE AND I HAD GREAT TIMES AT WORK AND OUT OF WORK. HE USED TO VISIT ME AND WE WOULD CALL EACH OTHER. HE ALSO WAS A PART OF MY WEDDING AND HE GAVE ME AWAY. WE HAD GREAT TIMES. I WILL TRULY MISS MY BEST BUDDY.
