Thomas Grenon Obituary

Massena: The family of Thomas J. Grenon, are saddened to announce his passing on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Canton-Potsdam Hospital surround by his devoted family after a brief illness. As per his wishes there will be no public calling hours or funeral service.
A graveside service will take place in Calvary Cemetery on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 11:00 am.
Thomas was born to the late Hilaire and Margaret (Brown) Grenon in Massena, NY, on March 5, 1950.
He attended Massena Schools graduating from Massena Central in 1969. Shortly after graduation, Thomas began his career at ALCOA where he was employed for 41 years, retiring in 2012 as an Environmental Specialist.
Thomas married his loving bride Marlene Davis on March 3, 1973, in Massena and they soon began their family.
In his pastime, Thomas could be found on the river fishing the St. Lawrence and hunting. He loved spending time at his family camp in St. Anicet Quebec.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife Marlene of 52 years. Two daughters, Tammie and husband James LaClair of Massena, NY, and Tina Tankersley of Plattsburgh, NY. Four granddaughters, Taylor, Shaunessy, Ashley, and Mackenzie and three great-grandchildren.
Thomas is also survived by his siblings; Fred Grenon of Massena, NY, Robert Grenon of Del Rio, TX, Margaret and Frank Voci of Rome, NY along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was predeceased by his sister Louise Warrner and brother David Grenon.
