Joseph Kalinowski Obituary

PAWTUCKET - Joseph P. Kalinowski, 79, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015. He was the beloved husband of the late Carolyn A. (Westgate) Kalinowski. Born in Central Falls, the son of Constance (Kokoska) Kalinowski of Lincoln and the late Joseph Kalinowski, he resided in Pawtucket most of his life, and had also resided in New York and Texas.
Joe was a graduate of St. Raphael Academy and a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Bryant College. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. Joe was the Director of Materials for Hasbro, Pawtucket, New York and Texas before retiring in 1996 after forty-two years of service. He enjoyed golfing and bowling, and was a member of the Hasbro Quarter Century Club and a former member of the Elks.
Joe leaves a daughter, Joanne L. Hamilton of Pawtucket; a son, Joseph Paul Kalinowski and his wife, Leslie of Kingston, MA; two sisters, Joan Messier of Lincoln and Carol Robishaw of Maine; two granddaughters, Nicole and Lindsay Kalinowski and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Dr., Seekonk. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. VISITATION Tuesday 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241 or your favorite charity or doing an act of kindness in memory of Joe would be appreciated.
