Joseph LaPorte Obituary
Joseph worked for the Burrillville DPW starting in 1994 and became a supervisor. He was an avid golfer and was a member of Raceway Golf Club in Thompson, CT. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting especially in Maine. He was a Vietnam veteran of the US Army, who served in Korea.
Besides his loving wife, he is survived by two sons: Christopher LaPorte of Lufkin, TX and Louis LaPorte of Smithfield; one brother: Howard LaPorte of Nasonville; one sister: Gail Senerchia of West Warwick and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Daniel LaPorte.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 10:00 AM from the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave. Pascoag. Services and burial will follow at 11 AM in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Main St. Pascoag. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 N. Main St. Providence, RI 02909
