Judith M. Palardy

NORTH SMITHFIELD - Judith M. (Pickering) Palardy, 75, died on December 13, 2015 at home. She was the wife of Rene Palardy, whom she married fifty-five years ago. Born in Blackstone, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Olive (Morgan) Pickering.
Mrs. Palardy worked as an Assembler for the former C.D. Burns Manufacturing Company. Judith enjoyed knitting, crocheting and writing children's books. She loved spending time being surrounded by her family.
Besides her husband, Judith is survived by two sons, John Palardy and his late wife Nancy of Coventry and Douglas Palardy and his fiance Brooke Towle of N. Smithfield; one daughter, Jennifer Simpson and her husband Daniel of Dayville, CT; one brother, Ronald Pickering of Acton, MA; one sister, Beverly Liblanc of Houlton, ME and two granddaughters, Jessica and Kristin Palardy.
Funeral services will be held on December 17, 2015 beginning with visitation at 5PM with a service at 7PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island, 1085 N. Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
