Leo Riendeau Obituary
Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Aram Riendeau and Alice (Ledoux) Morse. Leo worked in the automotive industry for General Motors in Framingham, Mass., for many years. He also served his country in the U.S. Army. He was deeply devoted to his faith, serving as a longtime member of the board of elders, usher and general handyman at the First Assembly of God Church in Woonsocket. He was an avid gardener and loved spending time with his family.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Michael Riendeau of Phoenix, Ariz.; three daughters, Donna Barrette and Cynthia Pouliot, both of Uxbridge, and Debra Barrette of Cumberland; a brother, Roger Riendeau of Arizona; three sisters, Constance Green and Pauline Dee, both of Arizona, and Yvonne Manocchio of Florida; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Edgar Riendeau.
Leo's funeral service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the First Assembly of God Church, 420 Mendon Road, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery, Diamond Hill Road, Woonsocket. Calling hours will precede the service and be held in the church from 9:30 to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to First Assembly of God Church, 420 Mendon Road, Woonsocket, RI 02895. Arrangements under the direction of the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave., Pascoag.
