Louis O. Lambert

FLORIDA - Louis O. Lambert, 85, of South East Federal Highway, Stuart, FL died September 12, 2016. Prior to moving to Florida in the mid 90's he previously lived in Glocester, RI. He was the husband of the late Rita (Raymond) Lambert and the late Vera Lambert.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Urgele and Emelina (Arel) Lambert.
He was a United States Army Veteran and served in the Korean War.
He worked as a machinist for Esmond Machine & Tool retiring in 1985.
Louis was a member of the AMVET Post 12 he was an avid fisherman and enjoyed wood working. He enjoyed traveling the United States in his RV after retiring.
He is survived by one daughter, Claire Achilles of Woonsocket and one son, Richard Lambert; and several step-children. He was also the brother of Pricilla Champagne, Muriel Payette, and Pauline Bileau, all of Woonsocket; Richard Lambert of Florida and Suzanne Dumont of Woonsocket; one granddaughter, Janet Barbrie; and two great grandchildren, Emily and DJ.
He was also the brother of the late Cecile Lariviere and Paul Lambert.
His funeral and burial with Military Honors will held on Thursday at 10 AM in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, MA; the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. sdipardomcfh.com
