Maria doCarmo Farias Obituary
She came to the US in 1967 and settled in Pawtucket she was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church of Pawtucket, and a member of the Holy Spirit Society, and parish prayer group and was a Eucharistic minister.
She is survived by two sons Manuel N. Farias of Sao Miguel and Duarte Farias of Providence, RI two daughters Cecila Botelho of Estero, Florida and Maria Andrade of Seekonk MA. She leaves one brother Henrique Carvalho of Sao Miguel, one sister Serafina Goncalves of Fort Myers, Florida, nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Manuel and Semiao, Duarte and the late sister Margarida.
The funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 a.m. from the Lachapelle Funeral Home 1012 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. With a Mass of Christian Burial at Anthony's Church at 10:00 a.m. Lawn Avenue Pawtucket, RI. Relative and friends are invited to attend. Visitation will be Thursday 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers gifts in her memory may be made to St. Anthony's Church, Lawn Avenue of Pawtucket. Internment will follow in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket.

To all family members,
I wish to extend my sincere and heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your dear mother. I was not able to attend her viewing this past week. Senhora Maria was a lovely lady, When attending an 8:00 mass at St. Anthony my growing up parish, I always loved hearing her read in Portuguese. Her reading was beautiful and I alwayss felt i was back home at my former parish. She was a lady with much class. My all your wonderful memories bring you peace and comfort.
