Marie M. Charron

ATTLEBORO - Marie M. Charron, 87, of Attleboro passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence, RI. She was the loving wife of the late Theodore H. Charron.
Born on June 27, 1930 in Attleboro, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Aurore (Denis) Plante.
Marie grew up in the Hebronville section of Attleboro and attended the Attleboro public school system. She was a homemaker and devoted Catholic. Marie was a longtime volunteer at the former St. Stephen's Church in Attleboro. She enjoyed baking, cheering on the Red Sox's and playing cribbage at the Larson Senior Center.
She is survived by her children, Theodore A. Charron and his wife, Judith, of Attleboro, Kathleen M. Johnson and her husband, Donald, of Chesapeake, Va., Joy A. Michel of Attleboro, Suzanne M. Silva and her husband, Alphonse, of Attleboro and Marie C. Lennartz and her husband, Clayton, of Merrimack, N.H.; her 14 grandchildren, Tyson Johnson, Colonel Michael Johnson, Jessica Jewell, Rachel Roszko, Michael and Derek Michel, James, Theodore, and Renee Charron, Jillian, Rebecca, and Gregory Lennartz, and Francis and Sarah DeStefano; 13 great-grandchildren, Katie, Michael, Cade, and Griffin Johnson, Rosabelle, Anthony, and Eden Roszko, Jedd Jewell II., Lillian, Aleigha and Nolan Michel, Tyler Michel and Avery Charron; her siblings, Rita Konicki of Rumford, RI and Paul Plante of Pawtucket, RI; also several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Albert, Roland, Henry, Joseph Leo, Ernest and Eugene Plante, Claire LeBeau, Irene Laberge and Theresa Delaney.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, July 26 from 4-8 p.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street Attleboro.
A funeral will be held on Thursday, July 27 at 8 a.m. from the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk. Burial will follow in the St. Stephen's Cemetery.
