Marlene J. Dion

FOSTER - Marlene J. Dion, 53, of Mt. Hygeia Rd. died Sunday, January 7, 2018 in Rhode Island Hospital after a motor vehicle accident. She is survived by the love of her life, of thirty years, Robert Ring. Born in Woonsocket, daughter of Marie (Bacon) Dion of Woonsocket and the late Alfred Dion. She worked as a teachers aide for various day cares and schools in the area.
Marlene was an avid animal lover, she enjoyed arts and crafts, knitting, and crocheting, and loved to bake for family and friends.
She is also survived by her three sisters, Michelle Thomas and her husband Randy of Woonsocket, Melissa Dion of Woonsocket and Melony Dion of New Hampshire. Three brothers, Alfred Dion of Lincoln, Alan Dion of Woonsocket, and Adam Dion of Mapleville, RI and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 5 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are from 3-5 PM prior to the service. Burial will be in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham MA, at a later date.
