Mary Lantagne Obituary
Clare, as she was known by her family and friends, was an elementary school teacher in the Waterville, Maine, School Department for 23 years, retiring in 1990. She had lived most of her adult life in Waterville before moving to Pawtucket 24 years ago. Clare was a longtime volunteer at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her children, David Lantagne, Donna Paine and Diane Lorden, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and four great-great- grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Anne Luley, John and James Barnicle.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at 10 a.m. from the COSTIGAN-O'NEILL Funeral Home, 220 Cottage St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Teresa of Child Jesus Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Tuesday, 4 to 7 p.m. in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association, 1 State St., Providence, RI, 02908, would be appreciated. www.oneillfuneralhomes.com

Mary was a beautiful person and patient who always had a smile on her face and graciously volunteered her time at Memorial Hospital. She will be missed.
