Matthew Jackson Obituary
Matthew was employed in the construction industry for many years, most recently in Falmouth, MA.
Matt enjoyed time with friends and family. He adored his nieces and nephew. He loved music and was a talented percussionist. He always liked being outdoors working or hiking and enjoyed any and all water sports. Matt always had time to lend a helping hand or words of encouragement to friends and strangers alike. His great faith in God's love always gave him comfort, whether in good or harder times.
In addition to his parents, Matthew is survived by his sisters, Jessica A. Jackson of Pittston, PA; Jillian A. Langley of Ogdensburg, NY; his nieces Julia, Esther-Mae, JessAnnae, and his nephew Torin, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Aug. 31, 2018 from 4-7 PM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 101 North Main St., Rte. 122, Uxbridge.
Funeral services will be held on Sat., Sept. 1, 2018 at 9 AM from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 AM in St. Denis Church, 27 Manchaug St., Douglas.
Burial will follow in St. Denis Cemetery, Manchaug St., Douglas.
Memorial donations in Matt's name may be made to Friends of the Mathieson School, P.O. Box 226 Oakham, MA 01068.
