After teaching along side George for many, many years, I can truly say that he was one of the good guys. He was kind-a gentle soul-and treated everyone with the greatest of respect. As a result, he was highly admired in the school community. May he rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to the family. I've known George since high school (1976) until his recent passing. George provided an enormous amount of support to women student athletes at Bellingham High School--his advocacy ensured that women had equal practice time on the BHS fields & track. Our paths crossed again in the late '80's--come to find out he lived down the road from my grandparents & dad. And, we crossed paths once more while watching my sons & George and Jackie's grandsons play soccer and baseball. I spent many hours in the baseball stands with George and Jackie and we always had a few laughs at each game while Jackie and I ate our pumpkin seeds. He will truly be missed.

So sorry for your loss. Mr. Anderson was one of the kindest and fairest administrators of BHS. I had the pleasure of being under him as a student and staff. He is greatly missed.

I´m sorry to hear this! He was one of my favorite administrators in high school. I would always try to get him to smile and when he did it made my day! He was such a great guy.
