Michael Wojcikiewicz Obituary
Born in Lincoln he was the son of the late Joseph and Victoria (Cieslek) Wojcikiewicz. He was a lifelong Cumberland resident.
Mike was a licensed boiler mechanic and was employed by the Butler Hospital, Providence for 15 years until his retirement. He was also an auto enthusiast and he raced automobiles within the Southern New England area for a number of years.
He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Michael J. Wojcikiewicz and his wife Elaine and Scott J. Wojcikiewicz both of Cumberland. Two brothers, Stanley Wojcikiewicz of Central Falls and Charles Wojcikiewicz of Providence and a grandson, Michael J. Wojcikiewicz Jr. of Cumberland and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves his beloved dog Bobo the Beagle. Mike was the brother of the late Mary Wojcikiewicz, Jenny Nunes, Theophile and John Wojcikiewicz.
A celebration of his life will be held Friday at 8 a.m. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Dr., Cumberland. Burial with military honors will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
