Norman J. Bourget

1930 - 2015

BLACKSTONE - Norman J. Bourget, 84, of Blackstone, MA passed away at home on Thursday, January 29, 2015 with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband for 62 years of Rita M. (Sabourin) Bourget. Born in Central Falls, RI on April 30, 1930, he was the son of the late Joseph C. and Rose A. (Raymond) Bourget.
He was the loving father of Robert J. Bourget of Orlando, FL, Jeanne Roy of Blackstone, MA, Norma Bourget of Millville, MA, and Anna Bourget of Bristol, RI. He leaves his cherished five grandchildren, Christine Cousineau and her husband, Wayne, Robert Roy and his wife, Katlyn, Richard Roy and his wife, Mary, Daniel Bourget and his wife Helene, and David Bourget, and seven great-grandchildren that he loved immensely. He was the brother of Donald Bourget and his wife, June of Chelmsford, MA and their two children, Cheryl and Joseph.
A resident of Blackstone for over 50 years, formerly of Central Falls and Woonsocket where he attended Woonsocket High School. Norman was an independent concessionaire and the owner of Joe's French Fries. Devoted to his businesses and his family, he will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Thursday, February 5th at 10:30AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM at St. Theresa Church, 630 Rathbun St., Blackstone, MA.
