Patricia Bartosiak

PORT ORANGE, FL - Patricia Bartosiak, 69, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017 at her residence in Port Orange, FL. She was the beloved wife of Steven Bartosiak for 47 years. Pat was the daughter of the late Adeline and Matthew Piepszny who raised her in Cumberland RI. She attended Cumberland High and then went on to the University of Rhode Island, where she graduated with honors with a degree in Biology with a minor in Math. Pat became vice president of her sorority, Alpha Xi Delta. She was a dedicated wife and mom to her two children. Once her children got older, she taught algebra at Pines Middle School and Walter C Young Middle School in Broward County, FL.
After she retired, Patricia still worked part time teaching math at Slyvan Learning Center. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and often did volunteer work at the Thrift Store associated with the church. Pat enjoyed doting on her young grand kids, traveling with her husband and playing weekly mahjong with her neighborhood friends.
Mrs. Bartosiak is survived by her devoted husband Steven of Port Orange, FL, two loving children, Michael Bartosiak and his wife Sharon of Mascoutah, IL, and Pauline Colamatteo and her husband Orlando of Centennial, CO, three cherished grandsons, Jacob Bartosiak of IL and Owen and Christian Colamatteo of CO.
The funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, June 9th at 10AM. Immediately following the service there will be a private internment ceremony at Daytona Memorial Park.
