Paul E. Robichaud

NORTH ATTLEBORO - Paul E. Robichaud, 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 26, 2017. He was the beloved husband of the late Mildred L. (Jordan) Robichaud for 63 years.
Paul was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II. He worked for both the Ferland Corporation and the Perini Corporation as a highly skilled carpenter and wood turner, building and working on hundreds of homes throughout the area.
During his later years, Paul served as the North Attleboro Building Inspector. His expert carpentry work can be seen throughout New England in many notable and historic buildings including, St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, South Attleboro and the Prudential Center in Boston. Paul also crafted many wooden liturgical applications for Swift & Fisher Co., for use in chalices and Holy Communion patens, still used today. In his free time, Paul loved spending time by the ocean. Above all, Paul was a devoted and loving, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.
He leaves two daughters, Susan Caldwell and her late husband, Gary of North Attleboro and Margo Quaglia and her husband, James of Attleboro; four grandchildren, Carrie Caldwell-Ryan and Amy DiCarlo both of North Attleboro and Valerie and Jeremy Quaglia of Attleboro; three great-grandchildren, Hailey Balmforth, Jacob Silva and Noah Ryan all of North Attleboro; a brother-in-law, Joseph Drury of Warwick; his dear friend, Lucille Swartwood in Connecticut and many beloved nieces and nephews. Paul was the brother of the late Orise DuBois, Lillian Sawyer, Beatrice Robichaud, Doris Kenyon, Estelle Bricusse, Theresa Laliberte and Cecile Murphy.
His funeral will be held on Friday at 8:45 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, 14 Park St., North Attleboro. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Paine Cemetery, North Attleboro. VISITATION will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to either the American Heart Association, P.O.
