Peter Durkin Obituary
Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of William J. Durkin and Lois (Lane) Durkin both of Cumberland. Peter resided in Cumberland most of his life.
He was employed by LM Heavy Civil Construction, and previously worked for the Town of Cumberland Water Department and Nikrud Enterprises.
Besides his wife and parents, he leaves five children, Kyle, Erin, Madison, Trevor and Brooke Durkin all at home. Also surviving is a sister, Laurie Campfield, of Saunderstown, RI.
A celebration of his life will be held Friday at 10 a.m. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Rd., Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Private burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Calling hours Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund to which donations may be made has been set up, The Peter J.
