Philip Barrett Obituary
Philip was a graduate of Attleboro High School and attended Rhode Island School of Design. A retired U.S. Army veteran, Phil proudly served his country for four years during the Vietnam era. He was employed as a contractor for J.L. Marshall & Sons, Inc. in Seekonk, MA, for thirty-seven years, a company Phil respected and was proud to represent, retiring in 2006. Philip was fond of sports, boating, and traveling throughout the Caribbean, his love for the ocean continued throughout his life. Upon retirement, Philip enjoyed the winter months in Florida and St. Maarten with his family.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Lisa J. Barrett; a grandson, P. Justen Barrett of St. Maarten, N.A.; a brother-in-law, Edward M. Miller of Missouri; a sister-in-law, Carolyn A. Miller-Albright of Virginia; a goddaughter, Kendra L. Miller, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers- in-law, Donald W. Miller and Harold J. Miller, Jr.
Due to Covid-19, Private Funeral Services will be held in St. Maarten, N.A., honoring Philips wishes. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, Pawtucket.

So sorry to see Philly go but take comfort that he was at home surrounded by all of your love. I always looked up to Phil, 37 years at one job day after day gave me inspiration to get up and do mine. He will be missed but always remembered
