Richard Cornell Obituary
He worked as a machinist for Technical Machine Services in Lincoln. After retiring in 2009, Richard delivered for the Valley Breeze. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Richard enjoyed fishing, camping, and cooking.
Besides his wife, Richard is survived by their three daughters, Kimberly Walsh, and her husband Stephen of Haverhill, Mass., Heather Chatterley, and her husband Michael of North Kingstown, and Karen Cornell of Woonsocket; and two brothers, Ronald Cornell of Russellville, Ark., and Robert Cornell of North Smithfield; as well as five grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Roger Cornell.
His funeral service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016 at 9 a.m. from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 1409 Park Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, West Wrentham Road, Cumberland. Calling hours are Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
