Rita P. Hetu

BELLINGHAM, MA - Rita P. (Trottier) Hetu, 86, of Bellingham, MA passed away peacefully on Friday, November 13, 2015 at the Woonsocket Health Center with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife for 67 years of Normand A. Hetu. Born in Bellingham, MA on October 7, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Medora (Lussier) Trottier.
She was the loving mother of Paulette R. Brunetti and her husband, Paul of Bellingham, and Muriel L. Bernier of Woonsocket, and Michael N. Hetu of Woonsocket. She leaves her cherished grandchildren, Christopher P. and Jason D. Brunetti, Renee Bernier-Allen, and 3 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Norman Trottier and his wife, Mary of Bellingham, Anna Antolini and her husband, Joseph of Blackstone, and the late Leo Trottier and Jeannette Fleury.
She was a resident of Bellingham where she was born and raised and also resided in Woonsocket. She worked in several area mills, General Electric and retired from Hillsinger in Plainville. She was a communicant of St. Theresa Church. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 18th at 8:30AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Theresa Church, 630 Rathbun St., Blackstone, MA. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting time from 8:30 to 9:30AM at the funeral home prior to Mass.
