Rita D. Savard

CUMBERLAND - Rita D. (Miclette) Savard, 86, of Cumberland died Tuesday, August 12, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Normand H. Savard.
Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Arthur and Agnes (Lefrenaye) Miclette, she had lived in Woonsocket, Cumberland and North Smithfield before returning to Cumberland 7 years ago.
Mrs. Savard was a quality control inspector for A.T. Cross Company, Lincoln for 13 years, retiring in 1990. She had previously worked at Finklestein's in Woonsocket for 28 years.
She was a member of the Senior Citizen Pitch League in Woonsocket and a communicant of St. James Church, Manville.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews and was the sister of the late Theresa S. Ezovski, Janet Desrosiers Gobeille and Robert Miclette.
Relatives and friends may call at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln Monday 9:30-10:15 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. in St. James Church, 33 Division Street, Manville. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Manville.
