Robert Anter Obituary
He was the husband of Cecile (Nadeau) Anter, they have been married for 46 years. Born in Central Falls, where he was a lifelong resident, the son of the late John and Zakie (Danho) Anter.
He had been employed by Osram Sylvania for 35 years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Steven Anter and his wife Cyndi, a sister, Lillian George and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late George J. and Barbara Anter.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. in St. Ephraim Syrian Orthodox Church, 215 Washington St., Central Falls, RI 02863. A funeral service will follow Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Ephraim Church. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the family or to St. Ephraim Syrian Orthodox Church.

Dear Cecile, I just found out about Bob's passing and was deeply moved. He was a wonderful, kind man with a great personality. He certainly was a good friend to my brother, Donald. I can still see him sitting in his beach chair in front of MacDonalds with his cigar in his mouth and a smile on his face.
He went through a lot the last few years, health wise, and I think God felt he had enough pain. so he took him home.
I do hope that you are doing ok and know that it will take time for you to grieve and to try to heal. I shall pray for you and I know that Bob would want you to go on as time permits.

To the Anter Family,
I will forever remember Bob with a cigar in his mouth and a hearty laugh for all in the box making area. A nice man and even better friend. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.
