Brouillette
NARRAGANSETT - Robert E. Brouillette, 76, of Narragansett, passed away peacefully Monday, May 13th, 2024. He was the loving husband of Susan (Cornelius) Brouillette. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Emil and Noella (Dumond) Brouillette.
Robert was a US Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War and received three purple hearts and a bronze star. He was proud of his 40 year career in Nuclear Medicine, serving in several New England hospitals. Robert enjoyed gardening, boating, fishing, and clamming with his grandchildren.
Besides his wife Susan, he is survived by two stepchildren, and five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
Services and burial for Robert will be announced at a later date.

Hey Bob ~ I have been looking for you 55 years!! ...and now I may have found you. I read your obit and and am happy to know what you have been doing with your life. I wish we could have connected during your living years!! There is no doubt you would remember me as you, Ray Barker and I spent much of our time in VN together with the HHC 1st Bn (Mech) 5th Inf. I remember you were drafted (Ray too) and really only wanted to get VN behind you...that's probably why I never found you because you had no interest in looking back. Can't blame you. Anyway, who knows if your wife or anyone else will ever find this message. I

My condolences to Bob's Family. We go way back to High School, so the memories run deep. Bobby was a great guy, who I actually ran into while serving in Vietnam, small world huh?. I always loved that green, step side Chevy Pick up you drove in High School. R.I.P. My Brother.
