Robert S. Chenail

MANVILLE - Robert S. Chenail, 82, of Manville, died Saturday, October 15, 2016 in Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. He was the husband of the late Margaret A. (L'Heureux) Chenail, whom he married September 21, 1957. Born in Manville, RI, he was the son of the late Hector and Annette (Baillargeon) Chenail.
Mr. Chenail worked in manufacturing at Fiberglas, Okonite and New England Instrument, retiring in 1999. He enjoyed playing cards at the Senior Center, and loved the racetrack and the New England Patriots.
He leaves his children, Doreen Fish and her husband Tracy of Willington, CT, Lisa Hoss and her husband William of Danielson, CT, Keith Chenail and his wife Joanne of Port Charlotte, FL, and the late Paula Ziemba; two sisters, Muriel Chenail of Rumford, RI and Gertrude Laprade of Manville; his grandchildren, Allen, Harrison, Erin, Derek, Jared, Zachary and Abigail; and his longtime friend, William Pullano and his wife Doris.
His funeral will be held Friday, October 21, 2016 beginning with visitation at 10 AM, followed by a service at 11 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St., Blackstone, MA.
