Robert Ethier Obituary
He was the beloved husband of Lucille (Lymburner) Ethier. Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Sylvio and Johanna (Paris ) Ethier.He was a United States Air Force Veteran serving for 26 years, retiring as Master Sergeant. He served in Thailand, Turkey, and various states in the United States. He received the Joint Service Commendation Medal at the Pentagon from the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He was a former member of the DAV, the Air Force Sergeants Association in Providence and the VFW.
Besides his wife Lucille he is survived by one brother, Laurent B. "Larry" Ethier of Cape Cod and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Louis Ethier and Normand Ethier.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2017 at 10 AM in St. Joan of Arc Church 3357 Mendon Rd., Cumberland RI 02864. Burial with Military Honors will be in Resurrection Cemetery West Wrentham Rd, Cumberland, RI. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are respectfully omitted. The S.
